I called your customer service line (again) today because I am being prevented from transfering my money to my bank account. It’s been happening for more than a week. I made several attempts. The money would be delivered into the account and immediately withdrawn by MTN. So all I get is two notifications. One telling me the attempt was successful and the other saying money has been taken from my account. Returning my balance to the previous one. Is MTN taking advantage of African Customers?
Maybe you are doing this because you don’t want customers to transfer their money before the so called E-levy hits. But whatever the case is, there should be no excuse for your continuous bad customer service. I made more than 10 attempts to be connected to an agent before one finally went through. After that, I waited on the line for more than 18 minutes. No agent picked the call. I choose option 5. So maybe no agent picked because you still don’t have agents who speak Ewe to help your customers who choose Ewe.
Perhaps, I am not the only one experiencing this and it is the same everywhere. My only hope is I am not being punished for calling you out on your ethnic based / language discrimination. Because if I am, then this situation might just end in court. These types of nonsense should not be accepted.
